Is this an okay way to give him my number?

I really like this guy who is working at my place at the moment, his work mates and my family are always around and we never get much chance to talk. To be honest, i don't know if he "likes" me or not, we get on well but haven't had much chance to find out. His work is finishing in the next few days, when he goes on the last day do you think that i could just hand him my number on some paper when i say goodbye and then leave it to him to contact me if he is interested and wants to meet up some time? I just thought that way there is no awkwardness for either of us if he isn't interested.. what do you think? x
