My BF hasn't spoken to me in 4 days and he's sitting right in front of me.?

He hurt his back on Wed. so I stayed at his apt to take care of him. He's a really quiet, solo kinda guy so at first when he wouldn't talk, I chocked it up to the pain and personality. Sat, he snapped at me in front of my 14 yr old then took off. He locked himself away Sat and Sun.. Sun night he stayed at my apt but since then he won't say 20 words to me. When I finally exploded this morning all he could say is....I'm done. I love him but is this his personality and just live with it or is this the beginning of goodbye. Please don't be condeming, I need words of wisdom not hate.
