How to get my bf whipped?

My boyfriend and I have been going out for almost five months now. He shows his care in spurts and then goes back to normal. Cuz see he's never been the relationship type. I think I'm his first serious girlfriend. I know I'm totally whipped because I'm overly caring. Like I'll sweet talk to him a bit or I'll call him every night just to say goodnight. But the problem is like his arm will only go around my shoulder when I take his arm and kinda sorta gently throw it behind my shoulder. Or we'd be texting/chatting and he'd just randomly leave the conversation without a goodbye or anything and it's kind of getting annoying. Like at school, one day he'd just be working all day and the next he'd be kissing me outside every one of my classes. I dont want him to be obsesed with me. I just want to be able to chat with him more since we're not gonna see each other for a year... The worst part is I dont think he realizes what's happening. Either that or he's just being naive about it. Could someone please help me?? Im kinda confuzed to tears... :-/
