I want to watch the series of AVP but what movie do i start with?

There is like one called "Alien" "alien 2" alien3, Predator, predator 2, avp movies and all that stuff. which one do i start with? Do i have to watch alien (1979) first and go up the list to get everything? Cuz thats the earliest movie.
