Do I really text him later? Or text him in a couple days or so?

Ok so I met this guy and got his number..we text from 8pm at night till 5am in the morning just talking and turns out we have alot in common.. When we were saying our goodbyes he said to text him later? I'm not sure if I really text him later or just wait till tomorrow or something to text him? I'm so confused. Btw in 15 so I'm kinda clueless..please help?
